What is Franexis?
Franexis is a multi-tenant operations platform for franchise systems. Franchisors get one pane of glass across every location; each franchisee gets CRM with guided lead intake, quoting, field service, inventory and equipment, finance, and compliance tools; technicians get a mobile app for their day.
Who is Franexis for?
Franchise systems in field services — with particular depth for property restoration, where the platform was shaped alongside a working restoration franchise. Emerging franchisors, established networks, and multi-location groups all fit.
What does FNOL mean?
First Notice of Loss — the initial report of an insurance claim, used in trades like property restoration. Franexis can capture FNOL fields (claim number, policy number, carrier, deductible, date of loss) on the lead itself, so insurance work starts with complete claim data. Franchises outside insurance-driven work don't use those fields at all.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes — a technician app for iOS and Android with grouped My Jobs, the one-tap status journey, labor timers, photos with EXIF timestamps, notes, and a read cache for weak-signal job sites.
Does Franexis handle royalties?
Yes — a configurable, versioned rule engine accrues royalties automatically on collected revenue onto monthly statements, with invoices, payments, disputes, and late-fee handling built in.
Getting started
How do we migrate our existing data?
CSV imports cover products, suppliers, and price lists. Locations coming off PSA by Canam Systems use the built-in seven-step import wizard, which previews every row — create, link, or skip — before committing.
How do users get accounts?
User provisioning is invite-based — admins invite users into the right role and location. There is deliberately no open self-signup.
How long does onboarding take?
A pilot location with CSV or PSA imports is typically productive quickly; network rollouts are phased franchisee by franchisee. We'll scope it with you during the demo.
Can we try it before buying?
Book a demo and we'll walk your team through the platform on realistic franchise data — and if you're on PSA, we can show the import against your own location's data.
Security & data
How is our data isolated from other tenants?
Every business table carries a tenant identifier and is protected by PostgreSQL row-level security — enforcement lives in the database, not just the application. Franchisee-level scoping further isolates locations within a network.
Does Franexis support multi-factor authentication?
Yes — TOTP-based MFA with hashed recovery codes, and a per-tenant policy that can require MFA for admins or for all users.
Who owns our data?
You do. The external REST API and webhooks make your data programmatically accessible, and exports are part of the platform — your data was never the lock-in.

Integrations
Does Franexis integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes — QuickBooks Online, connectable at both franchisor and franchisee levels, with entity mapping, a background sync worker, and a Sync Health view. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported.
Is there an API?
Yes — a documented bearer-token REST API (~60 endpoints) with scoped keys, per-key rate limiting, and idempotency, plus HMAC-signed outbound and inbound webhooks.
How do client notifications get sent?
Automated email and SMS fire at six job milestones, with per-tenant templates, per-contact opt-in preferences, and STOP suppression handled automatically.
